Nurturing children's potential
A Montessori play group, kindergarten, and primary school in Kiambu, for children aged 1 to 13.
Why families choose us
Bees Circle Academy is a boutique, co-educational kindergarten and primary school in Kiambu, offering a holistic education for children aged 12 months to 13 years. With intentionally small classes of under 20 learners in kindergarten and under 25 in primary, highly qualified teachers, and a rich blend of academics, creativity, and co-curricular experiences, every child flourishes academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. As a Christian school, our character is rooted in biblical values — teaching children how to live, not just how to make a living.

A value we live by
Valuing ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Three stages, one journey
Inside each stage are its own levels, each with its own teachers, rhythm, and goals for the year. Children move up through them as they are ready.
Under 4
A warm, Montessori-inspired start built on hands-on exploration and guided play, where our youngest children build independence, creativity, and social confidence.
Practical life, early language and number, art, music, and outdoor learning, with meals at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
The half-day programme plus a peaceful rest period, enrichment activities, and an afternoon snack.

Ages 4 – 6
The Early Years Foundation Stage, through purposeful play and guided learning. Optimum brain development happens between 0 and 6 — these are the foundations everything else is built on.
Purposeful play working toward the EYFS goals, with reading and writing emerging.
The final foundation year — confident, curious, and ready for Year 1.

Ages 6 – 13
A curriculum drawn from leading education systems around the world and localised for the Kenyan context. Ambitious academics sit alongside swimming, ABRSM music, sport, and a strong character programme — preparing learners for Kenya's leading senior schools.
Strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry across the curriculum.
Deeper, more independent learning, and a confident transition to senior school.

Beyond the classroom
A Bees Circle education reaches well beyond the desk — sport every week, swimming, music, the arts, and trips that connect learning to the real world.

Weekly PE and games, plus football, basketball, floorball, and skating — building teamwork, confidence, and resilience.

Swimming lessons in our on-site under-13 pool, following an internationally aligned swimming curriculum.

Structured taekwondo classes — focus, discipline, and self-control on the mat, building confidence and resilience with every belt.

Every primary child learns music through the ABRSM programme and sits ABRSM examinations each year.

Ballet, drama, dance, and termly concerts give every child a stage and a voice.

Trips to farms, forests, museums, factories, and cultural centres bring classroom learning to life.

Parent reviews
The school is beautiful and child-friendly. The staff are friendly, security right from the gate, the school is super tidy, and everything around is accommodating to children. They have a swimming pool and swimming lessons as well. Generally the school is beautiful and right on the road.
My son has attended Bees Circle for two years now. He absolutely loves the school and the staff. His teachers are a great encouragement and the academic program is great. I've never worried about my son while he's under their care and guidance.
This school is amazing and has really positively impacted my little one. The teachers and administrators are just the best. In just two months my kid has learnt a lot — you can tell even from her vocabulary.
Admissions
We welcome children at any point in the year, and we're non-selective — there are no entry exams. It takes three steps.
Get in touch by phone, email, or social media. Tell us about your child, and we'll answer all your questions.
Visit with your child for a taster day — they wear the uniform, join lessons and activities, and you meet the Head.
Download the admissions form, fill it in at home, and bring it with you along with your child's two most recent school reports. That's it.
The best way to know whether Bees Circle is right for your child is to visit — walk the grounds, watch a lesson, and meet the teachers. Families are welcome at any time during the school term.
