Exceptional beginnings. Lifelong impact.

Our youngest learners
The first four years of life represent the most extraordinary period of human development. During this time, a child's brain forms over 90% of its neural connections, laying the foundation for future learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, creativity and lifelong success.
At Bees Circle Academy, our Montessori Play Group provides a carefully prepared environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, create and grow at their own pace within a nurturing, safe and stimulating setting.
Our Montessori programme is designed to cultivate confident, independent and joyful learners who develop a genuine love for learning from their very first day at school.

Developed by renowned educator Dr. Maria Montessori, the Montessori philosophy recognises that every child is naturally curious and possesses an innate desire to learn.
Rather than relying on traditional teacher-led instruction, Montessori education encourages children to learn through carefully designed hands-on experiences that foster independence, concentration, responsibility and confidence.
Children are guided — not rushed — allowing them to master concepts at their own developmental pace while developing the self-belief to take on new challenges.
For children under four, play is learning.
Every activity within our classrooms has a clear educational purpose and helps children develop essential skills through exploration and discovery.
Children engage in activities that strengthen:
Language and early communication
Fine and gross motor skills
Practical life skills
Early numeracy concepts
Sensory exploration
Creativity and imagination
Problem-solving
Social interaction
Emotional regulation
Learning is joyful, meaningful and naturally engaging.

One of the greatest strengths of Montessori education is the development of independence.
From an early age, children are encouraged to:
These qualities become lifelong habits that benefit children well beyond the classroom.
The whole child
At Bees Circle Academy, we believe education should nurture every aspect of a child's development. Our Montessori programme promotes balanced growth across five key areas.
Children develop curiosity, observation skills, early literacy, numeracy and critical thinking through hands-on learning experiences.
Activities strengthen coordination, balance, movement, fine motor skills and healthy physical growth.
Children learn kindness, sharing, cooperation, respect and positive relationships in a warm classroom community.
Our nurturing environment helps children develop confidence, resilience, empathy and emotional security.
Music, movement, storytelling, art and imaginative play encourage self-expression and creativity.
Every Montessori classroom is intentionally designed to encourage exploration and independence.
Children have access to beautifully prepared learning materials that are:
This prepared environment enables children to become active participants in their own learning journey.
Class sizes
We intentionally maintain small classes of under 20 children, ensuring every learner receives the attention they deserve. This enables our educators to understand every child's unique developmental needs while building strong relationships with both learners and families.

A typical day
Children join us from 12 months and stay with us until they are ready for KG1. Half-day sessions run 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and full days 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Full days include a peaceful rest period, enrichment activities, and an afternoon snack.

We recognise that parents are a child's first and most important teachers.
Through regular communication, parenting workshops and collaborative engagement, we work closely with families to ensure every child experiences consistency between home and school.
Together, we create an environment where children feel secure, valued and inspired to reach their full potential.

Our Montessori Play Group offers children much more than school readiness — it provides the foundation for lifelong learning.
Children leave our programme with:
Confidence and independence
Strong communication skills
Curiosity and creativity
Early literacy and numeracy foundations
Positive social habits
Emotional resilience
A genuine love of learning
These are the qualities that prepare children not only for success in primary school but also for an ever-changing future.
The best way to know whether our play group suits your child is to visit — see the classrooms, watch a session, and meet the teachers.
